A new Beta version of the The Shrew Soft VPN client is now available for download. Changes include many bug fixes, compatibility fixes and the addition of IKE fragmentation support. The Shrew Soft VPN client now supports all features planned for the 1.0 release. A lot of work was done to bring it in line with the ipsec-tools CVS version. This includes support for new XAuth user authentication methods as well as automatic policy configuration using the extended modecfg facility. In addition, traditional road-warrior access methods are also supported. For a complete list of features and requirements, please review the howto document available from the download page.
