The Shrew Soft VPN Client consists of several user visible applications,
background application services and kernel mode NDIS drivers that work
together to provide IPSEC connectivity.
The core component of this software is the IPSEC Daemon
which runs as a
background application service. Site Configurations are managed using the VPN
Access Manager. The VPN Connect application is used to initiate
a connection
between the client and the remote site. Finally, the VPN Trace application can be
used to view log file output and configure any debug options you may wish to
enable.
